Our mission is to provide a platform for youth to develop their skills, confidence, and leadership abilities.

Zanzibar Youth Vision Organisation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering and supporting young people in Zanzibar.

We believe that every youth deserves access to quality education, vocational training, and mentorship to reach their full potential

Our programmes are designed to cater to the diverse needs of the youth in Zanzibar. We offer:

Education and Training: We provide access to quality education and vocational training in areas such as IT, entrepreneurship, and leadership development.

Mentorship and Coaching: Our experienced mentors and coaches guide and support young people in their personal and professional growth.

Community Engagement: We engage with local communities to raise awareness about youth issues and promote social responsibility.

Entrepreneurship Development: We support young entrepreneurs in developing their business ideas and providing them with access to funding and resources.

Since our inception, ZAYOVIO has made a significant impact in the lives of thousands of young people in Zanzibar. We have:

Trained over 755 young people in various skills and trades.

Established partnerships with local businesses, NGOs, and government agencies to provide job opportunities and resources.

Mentored over 650 young entrepreneurs in developing their business ideas and providing them with access to funding and resources.

Engaged with over 320 community members through our outreach and awareness programmes.

I’ve been clean for over a year now, and I’m working towards becoming a counselor to help other young people struggling like I was. Without their support, I wouldn’t be here today."

When the ZAYOVIO introduced their mental health program at my school, I finally felt like someone understood what I was going through. They connected me with a therapist who helped me cope with my feelings. I’m still on my journey, but with their support, I’ve learned how to manage my mental health, and I feel like I have control over my life again."

The NGO reached out to me through their youth outreach program and showed me a way out. They offered me a safe space, mentoring, and job training. Today, I’m working as an apprentice mechanic and staying far away from the streets. They gave me a second chance at life, and I’ll never forget that."
